Project implementers

The project «Customer» is the Interstate Commission for Water Coordination (ICWC), specifically the ICWC Secretariat.

The Association of two institutes - IWMI and Scientific Information Center of ICWC (SIC ICWC) - is responsible for the project implementation.

 

The Project  Steering  Committee (PSC), comprising of three representatives of the Ministries for Agriculture and Water Resources  (MAWR)  of  the three project countries, three Heads of the Province Water Management organizations (Oblvodkhoz) from the provinces where the project pilot sites are located, as well as one representative of the Basin Water Organization (BVO) «Syrdarya», one representative from the ICWC Secretariat, one representative from the donor organization  Swiss Cooperation Office, and two representatives of the project contract implementers (IWMI and SIC without vote). The PSC was created by the decision of all stakeholders during the inception phase final workshop in February 2002.
